Interview
Went into staff room and waited for 2 other candidates to show up. All three of us were sat in a room with two tesco representatives who were really nice and welcoming! we filled in forms mainly about health and safety while our passports and NI numbers were being copied elsewhere. We were asked our availability and if we would consider working in other departments as well. We were then asked 4 questions each that were quite basic interview questions then we had 20 minutes to work as a team to build a tower out of paper, basically if you have include everyone and put forward ideas you will do fine. Overall it was a great interview and all staff seemed very professional and welcoming!

Completed a fairly short interview with two existing staff members (including manager) and then headed downstairs to do a trial shift to check how you performed on the checkouts and interacted with customers.

Describe a time you have helped a customer or client.
It was simple, basically why do you want to join Tesco and some soft skill questions. Tell me about a time you worked in a group, try to answer in STAR format.
It was done by a manager in a back room. It was formal and it was about 20 minutes asking about experience, peoples skills etc. this might have changed as this was like 6 years ago now
