Interview
I was called about a week after initially submitting a CV to Tesco's website. I got a call from an assistant manager, who was very polite on the phone. I arrived at the store 10 minutes early only to be told that the manager was on their lunch and would not be back for 30 minutes. When she did eventually turn up the interview was very unprofessional and was only interested in finishing the interview. I then met with the assistant manager (who I had spoken to on the phone) and he was nice but the interview on a whole left a sour taste.
Interview was comfortable and friendly, manager was there on time. Asked why I want to work at Tesco and about previous customer facing roles. Explained the process and training requirements really well and had the opportunity to ask questions.
Short interview easy to speak to manager chill laid back energy very run of the mill normal questions if I do say so myself honestly nothing to be stressing over
i applied online, got offered an interview within 2 weeks. she asked me some questions regarding my experience and then got me working on the tills to see how i liked it for about 10 minutes. after that i could leave.
