      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Teva Pharmaceuticals (Tampa, FL) in Oct 2016

      Interview

First I received an email from the recruiter saying they wanted to begin the interview process and that I was to set-up a Google Hangout account for us to chat. I created the account and tried to call the recruiter via google hangouts at the date/ time they requested. The recruiter then responded saying that the interview would only be conducted threw the chat feature. (strange). She began by saying that at the end of the interview session I would be asked to scan a coy of my passport/birth certificate/drivers license and proof of address. I declined right away saying that I did not feel comfortable sending that information via Google Hangouts when I have not even had a formal in person interview yet. Next she began with lots of questioning about why I wanted to work there and some other generic questions. Since the interview was conducted via the app it took a long time and there were many minutes between responses even though she had said she required timely responses on my end. Overall I found out the job would be a remote (work from the internet) type deal and I immediately said I was not interested.

      Interview

Just found out that an entity not associated with Teva is operating a scam targeting people who applied to the administrative assistant position. There is a previous review that has the full description. Is it a SCAM. They are stealing the identities of HR professionals at Teva, posing as them and contacting applicants. They are leading us job seekers on, as well as dragging the Teva HR professionals' names through the mud. BEWARE. Do not give them any personal information.

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Teva Pharmaceuticals in Oct 2016

      Interview

First I received an email from the recruiter saying they wanted to begin the interview process along with a PDF describing the company and job. One thing I noticed was it was a work-from-home role though it wasn’t stated in job ad. Also, that I would be reposnsible to pay upfront for a computer, printer, shredder and a few other things!? I was to set-up a Google Hangout account for us to chat. Usually the recruiter sets up, but whatever.. I created the account and sent an invitation with the link, for the video call. Day arrives I’m sitting staring at myself waiting for the recruiter.. finally 20 min after the interview was to begin, I get a text, no video, the recruiter responded saying that the interview would be TEXT in the chat feature. Why not tell me that in advance? I said I had never had a text interview, no prior phone call. Never a conversation. She responds ‘Really?’ She said the interview was to test my typing speed and accuracy. This is not an entry level position. The requirement is at least 5 years administrative experience. My CV shows many more years experience. than that. Than I sat and waited for a question, for her to say something, anything...and she said nothing. I was completely turned off on so many levels. I almost thought maybe I was being hacked. What a disastrous way to conduct an interview!! I walked away.
