I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Texas Tech University (Lubbock, TX) in Feb 2012
Interview
My Friend recommended to apply for a job, I applied and got interview call from Hiring Manager. Phone interview went well and the next day he called me for onsite interview in library, it was mostly behavioral and time management questions, did ask me some history questions. I was international student, I wasn't able to answer them. Hiring manager encouraged fellow student assistants to learn history and involved us in learning history for the time we were working there.

Interview
It was a very simple interview process. Pretty much no questions were asked, it was mostly just banter. I received a tour of the working facilities and was introduced to the staff.

Interview
The interview experience was remarkably positive, as the interviewers displayed a welcoming and empathetic demeanor towards students. It was not only easy but also enjoyable, thanks to their straightforward yet engaging questioning approach.
Smooth, nothing crazy. I wouldn’t consider it an interview, it was more like a conversation. Everyone was kind and relaxed and was knowledgeable about the role and process andwhat experience I would gain
