I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at The Buckle (Milwaukee, WI) in Jul 2011
Interview
I got emailed right away after filling out the application online. They told me to call and set it up. I went to the store and when the manager was ready to interview me we sat and she asked easy, basic questions. Overall it was ok experience but to be honest, being African American I'm not sure if I will be offered the job. Although, that would be great. I also don't feel like i fit the "buckle look" very well either.
Super quick and easy. The woman who interviews me was very kind and understanding to it being my first retail job. I was offered a job on the spot and was able to ask any lingering questions I had about the role and profession.

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at The Buckle (Little Rock, AR) in Mar 2026
Interview
Very simple. No behaviour questions. It was basically all about me. We talked about hobbies, availability, college plans. It was like a fun conversation and not a hard, daunting, scary interview.

Interview
They bring you in to ask basic interview questions. Make sure you completely dress the part. I was told before the interview by an associate that I should wear clothes they sell there. She didn't go into detail but I take that as they won't hire you if you don't.
