I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at The Buckle in Oct 2011
Interview
like everyone else i applied online, received an email saying to call to set up an interview and had the interview the next day.
- expect to wait around cause management never seems prepared (this isnt just my personal experience but from friends as well)
-expect to stand ON the sales floor
- the manager took a look at my resume and seemed not to care with the interview after that point
- she only asked a couple questions: tell me about yourself, what did you do in your past job, and why do you want to work here
- as i answered she showed little to no interest in anything i had to say
overall, i felt like the girl just judged me from my overall appearance and experience. i am more than qualified as i was once an assistant in a retail store for over 3 years. sorry i didnt show up in jeans. i dressed business casual with grey slack and a printed with a cardigan over. and black flats.
Super quick and easy. The woman who interviews me was very kind and understanding to it being my first retail job. I was offered a job on the spot and was able to ask any lingering questions I had about the role and profession.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
How well do you do interacting with people you do not know?
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at The Buckle (Little Rock, AR) in Mar 2026
Interview
Very simple. No behaviour questions. It was basically all about me. We talked about hobbies, availability, college plans. It was like a fun conversation and not a hard, daunting, scary interview.

Interview
They bring you in to ask basic interview questions. Make sure you completely dress the part. I was told before the interview by an associate that I should wear clothes they sell there. She didn't go into detail but I take that as they won't hire you if you don't.
