I applied for job role online and I was quickly scheduled for a phone interview despite not residing in Sacramento, CA. Unlike other telephone interviews that I've had in the past, the recruiter didn't try to schedule an additional interview with me at the end of our call but just mentioned that I would hear something in a week. I sent her a thank you email later that evening and I sent a separate email where I shared a concern I had about a manger that I would be reporting to (if I had received and accepted a job offer) being involved in a fraud case. I never heard back from the recruiter or company about the manager or job status.
