I applied for the job opening online and within two weeks I was contacted by a corporate level recruiter, the was the start of the hiring process which I would characterize as intense, be prepared to provide detailed answers for your education, work life and community involvement, this is needed for the extensive background checks required, This could take awhile to complete depending on how much travel and relocation is in your work history. Next step was a very specific phone interview by the recruiter and then a face-to-face panel interview at the local level with three to five member selection panel.

Be prepared to answer performance based questions such as "Tell me a time when you had to support a decision that you did not agree with and what were the results" or "Tell about a time when you led or supported a project, what were the goals, what was your role and what steps you took to make it successful, what were the final results?"

Interview
The interview was with three people. The Distribution Manager, Sales manager and HR. Have been to several interviews but never went any further than that. They just need to interview outside prospects but every position offered seems to be offered internally.

Interview
Initially I was contacted via phone by a recruiter or Coke. It was a brief phone screen to discuss who you are and work history. They described the culture and scope of the position. From this point, I met with the distribution manager, small store sales manager, merchandising manager and 2 of my eventual peers. I was extended an offer several days later.

No real difficulty in the questioning. Nothing unexpected. The questions were mostly scripted with 3 or 4 parts to each. Keep in mind SAT - Situation, Action & Result and you will be fine.
