I was contacted twice by The Grapevine Agency for roles Lori Zuker Briller reached out about, and both experiences were disorganized from the start. Emails were confusing, interviews were rescheduled multiple times, and on both occasions she tried to schedule calls with me on a Saturday — which felt completely disrespectful. No one should be expected to do job interviews on the weekend.
When we finally connected, she showed up unprepared and blamed me for “joining at the wrong time,” even though I have the email confirming the exact date and time she gave me. She had actually mixed up my call with someone else and kept mentioning how busy and overwhelmed she was.
Afterward, I checked Glassdoor and saw others have had similar issues with her — I wish I had looked sooner. It’s a major red flag when someone claims to be too busy yet can’t stay organized enough for a basic introductory call.
Overall, the lack of professionalism and accountability left a bad impression, and I don’t plan to work with them again.
