The James Hotel interview questions

Responded to an open call for a new restaurant. Had to wait a little bit since other people were there, but nothing crazy. The first girl that interviewed me was very friendly but didn't ask me all that much in my opinion; she asked if I was interested in any other positions (red flag I think) and I said banquet service so she had me wait for that interviewer. Now this guy was much more off-putting; while waiting I saw him be kinda rude to a staffer/facilitator there. He was all smiles initially, then just sort of stared while I answered questions, even for the most benign questions I felt slightly uncomfortable.
