Super extensive interview process. I spoke with different members of the team, but didn’t have a meaningful conversation with anyone- they all seemed rushed. The hiring activity and part time work seems like idea mining, as they ultimately used the work I produced for them but rejected me.

The interview process is unique. I applied for a position as Program Associate and didn't hear anything back for a while (not unusual). 6-8 weeks after my application, I received an email asking me to select a time for a 15 minute virtual screening interview to be conducted by one of the Program Managers. The interview felt somewhat robotic - it started with the interviewer jumping right in without even greeting me (which did not make for a very welcoming first impression). The interview consisted of "rapid fire" questions, a few minutes for me to ask questions and concluded with an explanation of what the rest of the interview process would look like. Candidates selected to move further in the process would be asked to complete a short project/assignment, have additional virtual interviews and the final candidate would be offered a short-term paid consulting position (~10 hrs/week) to ensure that the selected person was a good fit for the team. In total, I was advised the process could take 6-8 weeks.

Had two rounds of interviews and an assignment while interviewing for a full time position. The next step offered was a few weeks of consulting work, which was not initially mentioned. Process felt a little disjointed and one of the senior employees made me schedule my own interview with them, which felt a little condescending. Ultimately I withdrew my application.
