The Lux Productions interview questions

I did a virtual interview, then an on site interview, both were around an hour. When I was done, the person interviewing me said verbatim, "I am really excited to have you on the team, we will be sending an offer letter over soon, and I REALLY hope you accept it." 2 weeks went by with no contact. Finally someone replied to my followup email telling me that I did not in fact get the position and the person who soft hired me was no longer with the company. When I explained I was offered a position, the manager dismissed it and tried to explain that their ex employee didn't say that, and I must have been mistaken, despite this person not being there for the 2nd interview. Complete waste of time for a company that pretends to do events but actually just hooks up christmas lights and sets up tents. Lowest pay in the industry as well.
