I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at The Newsette (New York, NY) in Apr 2021
Interview
The process was quick and direct, with no HR liaison, and sole communication with the hiring manager. Disappointed to share that an idea I pitched in my interview when asked what my "first order of business" would be appeared in company communications within 3 weeks of my interview, and I received no follow up communications after the call.
I interviewed with the CEO, COO, and marketing lead. Seemed smart and kind. Questions were generally geared towards culture fit with a few technical conversations. After about a week, was told I was not a fit for the role, but wanted to keep in touch as they were growing.

Question 1
A lot of behavioral questions. Some technical questions specific to the role.
Don't recommend. I'm disappointed I wasted my time with them, honestly. 45 minute long conversation, thank you note & multiple followups later and I never received any semblance of a response from them. I was completely ghosted.... one of the most disrespectful things any company can do to a job seeker. From reading the multiple 1-star reviews here, I now understand the COO is the CEO's boyfriend and realize that explains some of the unprofessionalism and amateur-ness I experienced. This does not seem like a good place to be.
