I was contacted by the TA from The Trade Desk on LinkedIn about the opportunity. There were 3 rounds of interviews and the process took about a month. The first round was a face-to-face interview where I got to meet 3 members from the Hong Kong office. We talked about my previous job experiences and technical knowledge, the specifics of the positions and my expectations to the role. A large part of the discussion was to assess the cultural fit between the company and me. Everyone was super friendly and I was invited for the second round of interview the next day.
The second round was a video interview with the BD Director in Singapore and we mostly talked about the specifications of the job.
After a week or two, I was invited to the last round of interview in which I was asked to do a 30 minute presentation on a given topic. There was a Q&A session after the presentation where interviewers would ask a few questions regarding the presentation.
Everything was smooth and the TA kept me updated about the status throughout the whole process.

Question 1
Can you share with me one of the signature projects you have worked on in the past?
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at The Trade Desk in Feb 2017
Interview
I interviewed at The Trade Desk in early 2017 and was referred for this position. The interviews were thorough and I had 4 rounds in total (2x phone screens and 2x in person where I met with 4-5 people each visit). The interviews were 1:1 and conversational. The team was really looking to get to know me beyond just my work experience!
