Interview
I had the following experience interacting with the company. I applied for a motion designer position.
Without any prior interview, I received a test assignment with the following instructions:
“The trial consists of editing raw footage into a finished 20-second video.
We deliberately chose a more challenging video than usual — you’ll notice the speaker is not very comfortable in front of the camera. We did this specifically to see how you handle such situations.
The goal is to assess your autonomy and decision-making abilities, so we’re only providing the minimum information below.”
I completed the test task and submitted it within the given timeframe.
I did not receive any response.
Not even a simple “Thank you, you’re not a fit for us.” Let alone taking 10 minutes to provide feedback — especially considering that I spent several hours completing the test.
I find this level of communication unacceptable.
