I applied online. I interviewed at Tom Sachs Studio in May 2026
Interview
Applied to an anymous job posting for an Artist Studio Registrar role and recieved an email about a week later for an interview via Google Meets with the Studio Manager. Things started off fine but came to a screeching halt when they asked and were disappointed to learn I didn't have a driver's license, despite it not being mentioned in the job posting.
That, their confirmation Tom Sachs is a difficult person to deal with during the interview, and the fact that they couldn't be bothered to send me a rejection email pretty much says it all about the level of professionalism, or lack of, of this place.
Straight forward interview, interviewer seemed polite. The interview was conducted over zoom, and arrived on time. Nothing really out of the ordinary. The job is full time at the gallery, so keep this in mind.
