I was originally contacted by the studio. They caught my attention with an offer for a high quality project they were doing service for. They requested me to do an unpaid test that lasted a whole week previously chosen by them. No flexibility. Full time work for five days with an imposition of daily updates to a digital platform. By day 4 they came back with feedback and retakes and expected the applicants to fix them even if that meant agreeing to keep on working for longer than a week. During the whole process, the comunication was messy and confusing. The test asked for a final look and approach that didn't even make sense given the material and references provided. Probably one of the most demanding, unfair and sketchier processes I've witnessed in this industry. And of course, any question regarding conditions and salary prior to the test itself were completely ignored.
