They are not hard but time constraints make it challenging. Here they are not looking for best practices, just solve the problem - If you don't finish the interview is stopped. To be honest it felt like a competition / game show You also get frequent reminders to complete your CV, tests and to attend the interview throughout the process If you fail your can wait 1 month to reapply from the stage you left off. Failing that you will have to wait even longer
