The interview process was well-defined from the first meeting with the recruiter, who was readily available throughout to answer questions and provide feedback at various stages. I met with the recruiter for an initial screening, then had five days to complete a 3-part skills assessment project. This required reviewing and providing feedback on a landing page, lead conversion form Figma prototype, and outlining basic keyword research and SEO strategy for a new business vertical. The assessment required a presentation with a minimum of three slides per section, which I had to present in a video recording with a max length of 12 minutes for submission to the team. After this, I met with the hiring manager and had another interview with the Growth Product team lead. Unfortunately, I made it to the final round, but the offer was given to the other candidate. The process took about four weeks due to my choice in scheduling around some planned vacations, but it likely would have been 2.5-3 weeks with greater flexibility on my part. While the assessment project was time-consuming and substantial for the seniority level of this role, the content was appropriate for evaluating my skills. It made the subsequent interviews fairly efficient with minimal repetition of fundamental skills demonstration.
