After another week, I attended the final panel interview. I felt the interview went exceptionally well and they even highlighted my background as a significant advantage for the role. However, despite this, I was left in limbo without further communication. It was only after I followed up with them that I received a response that I did not get the job. The process took over a month, from the initial application to the final panel interview, with significant gaps between stages. While I understand that thorough evaluation is necessary, such a prolonged timeline without consistent updates can create uncertainty for candidates. A more streamlined process and timely communication could enhance the candidate experience and maintain engagement.
