Interview
I had the most unprofessional, unorganized and disrespectful interview experiences with this company. The hiring manager interrupted me at least ten times during a one-hour interview—not to challenge or clarify—just to interject whenever she felt like it. The hiring manager lacked even the most basic courtesy and understanding of how a professional interview should be conducted.
Despite the constant interruptions, I was told I passed the interview and that a coordinator would reach out to schedule the next round. However, that was the last I heard from them. Even after sending a follow-up email, I received no response, no rejection. Complete radio silence.
In retrospect, I'm grateful things ended there. A process this disorganized and disrespectful—from HR to the hiring manager—speaks volumes about what working there might be like. If that hiring manager’s behavior is any indication of how she manages her team, working under her would be a disaster waiting to happen. A company that allows such a person to represent them in interviews is telling you everything you need to know about its internal standards.
Sometimes, being ghosted is a big blessing in disguise.
