Met the all famous lady boss everyone talks about online. Never mind about how the interview went, but how disrespectful I felt in the interview. I just could not wait to walk out of there. These are the 3 key points that happen during my interview :
1. Met the lady boss on my way in. She just points to the room where I was supposed to interview. I have to set up the room myself, basically to on the light and turn on the air cond myself. (That's okay but first bad impression)
2. She walk in the room with her laptop on out loud in a meeting. As she sat down, she lower down the volume to about 45? But I could still hear clearly. Then she ask me introduce myself. I was so, so distracted with the noise and mumbling from the laptop meeting and by her. She literally put her ears around her laptop speaker to listen in while I was talking. First of all, there is this thing called earbud and second, can you please finish your interview or your meeting first, & third, her eyes probably already inside the laptop, being an interviewee, I felt like I'm transparent to her already.
3. Then she asks me about my experience. As I begun sharing, she put her ears around the laptop speaker again and eyes trying to see what's in the meeting. As much as my past experience is related to the position she is hiring, I completely lost my interest in the company and my respect for her. I just didn't wanna share further and wrap up on the spot (she has and in a meeting anyway)
How disrespectful ! To the surviving engineers in there, my prayers goes to you.
