The interview process was a three stage, first stage with the lead TA Daryl who was great! I left the interview knowing everything i needed to about the company, the role and the next steps were very clear.
I was asked to prepare a task of how i would approach my first 30 days. I was given a really clear and detailed instruction - even including some tips of what they would actually like to see (you dont always get this with interviews) The second interview took place with Daryl and Katy both recruiters at tryhackme.
What i personally loved was that i was given feedback on my task there and then in the interview! I felt that even if i didnt get the role, id already taken away something that i could learn from and help to shape my future approach to interviews.
Following that interview i attended an interview with the co founder Ashu, again was great to chat too and happy to answer any questions about tryhackme, even ones where i challenged the culture.
Sadly i didnt get the job. However the entire experience made me more interested in keeping in touch with the team for any future opportunitys! I recieved detailed feedback in both the interview and also in my rejection email, which arrived 3 days after my interview.
Its very clear to see that despite some negative reviews, the TA team at tryhackme are doing their best to move forward and make really positive changes.
