      Solutions Architect Interview

      Dec 4, 2020
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      No offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Twilio in Nov 2020

      Interview

Started off with a hackerrank screening. It was a bit strange getting this before talking to anyone but overall I'm glad they did it first. Next I was screened by a recruiter who asked about my general experience and gave me information about the role. They mentioned compensation ranges here which is nice to find out before you spend days interviewing to be let down. Then there were a series of three 45 minute interviews back to back. One was a technical assessment. One was more behavioral. The final was a presentation that includes the first two interviewers and a hiring manager. I was invited back for a final round interview with a "bar raiser". This is another behavioral type interview. They are looking for situations you've faced in your career and how those tie back to the twilio values. The twilio "magic" or values is a constant theme in all interviews actually. Overall it was a good experience. I would have liked to work with the people who interviewed me. The recruiter and her assistant were also great. They explained the process, kept me informed, and were responsive.

      Solutions Architect Interview

      Anonymous employee
      Dublin, Dublin
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Twilio (Dublin, Dublin) in Dec 2022

      Interview

The interview process included several stages, starting with an HR screening with a recruiter. This was followed by an interview with the hiring manager, which provided me with a deeper understanding of the role and the company culture. I was then given a technical test to showcase my skills and knowledge in the field. The next step was an interview with a Solutions Architect, which was a great opportunity to learn more about the team and the projects they are working on. The bar raiser interview provided a fresh perspective on the role and allowed me to demonstrate my ability to think critically and provide solutions to complex problems. Finally, I was asked to present a case study, which gave me the chance to showcase my problem-solving skills and my understanding of the company's products and services. Overall, the interview process was well-structured and gave me a clear understanding of the expectations and requirements for the role.
