I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Tyler Technologies
Interview
Analytical, two gamified scenarios to work through. There is no context given and no details on how you are being evaluated. The entire process took just over an hour.

Question 1
One about measurements, one about determining possible answers
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Tyler Technologies (Plano, TX) in Jun 2021
Interview
I applied through their website and was contacted the next day to schedule a phone interview. Unfortunately, the phone interview was a very negative experience as the recruiter was not friendly at all and didn't ask a single question about my skills or experience. Instead, she was hyper focused on 2 small job gaps I had (one of them was because of the 2020 global pandemic). While it's definitely important to get clarity on job gaps, I felt that it was unfair that she was so focused on them instead of asking about my skills, experience, and qualifications. It felt as though she was looking to disqualify me from the very beginning as the tone, attitude, and questions were all negative. I knew as soon as we got off the phone that I would likely not be moving forward, and sure enough I got the email 1 week later that I wouldn't be.

Question 1
Why haven't you worked during the 2020 global pandemic after being laid off due to business closure?
The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Tyler Technologies (New York, NY)
Interview
I met a recruiter on campus who recommended me this position based on what I told them my interests were. After I applied online, I got an email to schedule a phone interview within a week. The interview was about 30-45 minutes long. Within a week, I got an email saying, we'll let you know within a week about our decision but if we don't feel free to reach out to us. I did reach out after a week to see what the status was but never got a response from them.
