I applied through college or university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Tyler Technologies (Latham, NY) in May 2014
Interview
I have applied it through the mail, which our professor forwarded. I got a mail from the Hr after 2 weeks asking whether I am still interested in the opportunity or not. I said Yes, and we scheduled for the interview. It was a panel interview (well the panel has about 6 people). They asked me explain and show the projects which I already have done. I took my laptop and explain the projects that I already have done and I am currently pursuing too.
Then they asked me very few basic questions like how to keep yourself updated with the technology, tell me the most challenging thing you have done in your life.
In my view I think the very reason for my rejection could be my shift from Java to C#. The internship span was short, so there might an issue for them to train me in C# and then assign me into project, as they will be getting resources who are already trained in C#.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Every particular detail of the project, which I have not done all by myself.
Call with HR. Then teams meeting with hiring manager and 2 from the security team. Thought the interview went well, but someone else was chosen. I just wish I knew why it wasn't me, and what I could do to improve. Thankful for the opportunity. Everyone was extremely nice.

It was good, HR phone interview and then hiring manager a week later, received offer a week after that. Overall a good experience, not any stress with the process at all.
