Question 1
Where do you see yourself in 5 years? How will this role help you get to where you want to be? What are your greatest strengths and weaknesses? How have you handled conflict?
I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at UC Davis (Davis, CA) in Jun 2014
Interview
It was a group interview with many other students and everyone gets asked the same question. You do not choose what section in the bookstore you want to be after you are notified that you have passed the interview. They will give you a slip where you can rank which areas you rank first. Before this, you are required to go through a background check so they can screen you. I do believe this is for Cashiers primarily as they are handling the cash in the store.

Question 1
What experience do you have pertaining to this job?
-group interview with 3 people and we were interviewed by two student managers in a conference room. overall not much pressure since they were also students, but make sure you still dress semi formally (friendly but still a little strict). we each took turns answering a different question. they also gave us more info about the next step in the hiring process.
