Interviews for Top Jobs at UNCOMN

Anonymous Interview Candidate
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at UNCOMN in Jun 2021
I was very interested to work with this organization because of their "best place to work awards" and obvious employee appreciation culture. This was a newly created role on their marketing team. I went through two rounds of interviews. One with the recruiter and the second with the team. I followed up almost a week later and was told while I interviewed well and they were impressed with my resume, I was not selected to move forward because they wanted someone with more experience. I did still follow up and ask about other roles I would possibly qualify for at the organization as I was still interested in working there. I was not given any response by the recruiter at all. Not to mention, I believe I was practically given a generic thanks but no thanks reasoning as to why I didn't get selected to move forward with the third round of interviews. This job market is very tough right now for those who involuntarily lost their previous jobs so more constructive reasoning as to why I was not moved forward would have been more helpful than a bandaid response. Also, more effective communication to try to still place a skilled candidate in possible other roles if they express a high degree of interest in working with your company can save a negative experience.

Very relaxing atmosphere. Felt more like a conversation instead of an interview. After about 5 minutes any nerves I had were gone. The interviewer was very informative about the company and clearly explained the culture of the company

I applied through other source. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at UNCOMN (Scott AFB, IL) in Jan 2019
The interview process was average. It begins with an initial interview by team member services. This is followed by an interview with the manager and a resume review. Finally, an offer is extended (or passed on).
- Nothing about my resume was relevant except my background.

Aegis interview started with a phone interview, followed by meeting 1:1 with manager and then met with the manager and the President. All 3 interactions were pleasant and professional. The people are very friendly and informative. Expectations were clearly expressed.

The interview process was very informative. They explained the story of the company and their mission. I asked a lot of questions to make sure I seemed very interested, which I was. I was asked when I could start as an intern and then was hired on shortly after.
