Interview
First I had to submit a special duty application package with medical evaluation, performance reports, and a letter of recommendation from my commander. After my record was reviewed, the hiring manager called me to ask questions related to my package. Not much of an interview was conducted, because they had already selected another candidate. They just wanted let me know that I was not selected and why.
Panel interview. They give you a list of questions about 5 and you have 15 mins to write your answers, then time to present make sure to take all of the time, even if you talk about other things.

Interview process was straightforward. I applied through gov jobs and received an email to set up an interview. Interview was conducted via zoom because of COVID and it was standard questions.
