Application
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at US Postal Service in Jul 2024
Interview
Submitted online application. I was contacted by phone three days after closing date to set up an interview. I had the interview two days later. The interviewer was nice and welcoming. The interview was about 40 minutes total. First half was questions on OOP, tech stack they use, SDLC, Data Structures and algo questions. Then second half was a live coding assessment in JAVA. Then live assessment in SQL. I got stuck with the JAVA exercise which seemed to annoy the interviewer but she eventually stepped in and gave me hints. Overall, kind of a fast shotgun interview. Not one question about my resume, projects, or any behavioral type questions. Probably one of the easiest technical interviews I've had. Overall, very pleasant interview. Bummed, I messed it up by freezing on the JAVA assessment.

Technical interview: OOP, Algos, Java live exercise, SQL live exercise. SDLC. Asked about linked lists, bubble sort, hash, and so on. Asked to explain my code. The interviewer was very nice, helped me when I got stuck on my coding exercise. It was more technical than I had anticipated but a good experience overall.
I applied and got back from USPS about 1 month later. I was asked various questions related to my past experiences, some technical questions for Java, SQL, and etc., and behavioral questions.
