I applied through other source. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at USG Insurance Services
Interview
Phone interviewer left a really bad impression, either she doesn't like her job or she was having a bad day? It's obvious she doesn't have a background in insurance and she doesn't care much about how she comes off. She was a direct reflection of what I thought I'd have to deal with in management so I decided to take a job with a different wholesaler, I'm so happy I did!
Thank you for your feedback. I'm sorry you feel negatively about your experience. Please contact me if you would be interested in sharing additional details and insights about your phone interview. Christina McDermott: cmcdermott@usgins.com

I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at USG Insurance Services (New York, NY)
Interview
I had 3 interactions - a phone screen, that lead to a phone interview, that led to a virtual interview. The two people that I met with in the final virtual interview were super nice, very knowledgeable, and everything seemed to go well. .....and then not a peep. I didn't ever hear a word about what happened. No offer or feedback of any kind.
It was odd because I was in pretty close contact with the manager throughout the whole process. The manager was very open with me and called me (rather than email) during almost every interaction. I believe that I was very qualified for the position - and if I didn't get it, it's no big deal - but it would've been nice to hear yes or no. I didn't even get the system generated "it's not you it's me" corporate email letting me know that they went with someone more qualified.
Maybe the manager that I interviewed with left? That's the only thing I can think of that makes sense. I'm not even mad about it (because I took another opportunity anyway) but I wanted to share this warning with anyone potentially interviewing. Keep your options open and follow up as much as reasonable - but I was left out to dry.
