Interview
2 round, not very hard. First round is a phone interview. She asked me some basic information. Second round I was asked to came to uber hq and have a two round 1:1 with a sr designer and a PM. It was a great talk about my design experience. It is mostly focus on my skills, career path and portfolio.
The interview process typically includes an initial screening call, followed by a portfolio review to discuss past work and design thinking. The final stage consists of multiple 1:1 interviews and a collaborative whiteboard or problem-solving exercise.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Uber (San Francisco, CA) in Oct 2025
Interview
The first step is recruiter call, then portfolio walkthrough with VP of design and another designer on the team, lastly a panel interview with cross-functional partners like PM and engineering. Because it was a mid level position so it only had 3 rounds

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Uber (Bengaluru) in Apr 2025
Interview
The interview went smoothly and felt good overall. Unfortunately, I didn’t make it through the first round. However, I haven’t received any feedback, even after reaching out personally—especially disappointing since the interview experience itself was quite positive.
