I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Uber in May 2018
Interview
Heard back from application within a week. Did a screening call with a recruiter, then 4 back to back interviews with team members approximately 30 minutes each. Interviewers were great for the most part, aside from one, which ruined the whole experience. Interviewer opened with how hungover they were and how much they didn't want to be doing this, and proceeded to be unresponsive, if not hostile throughout. It was possibly the least professional interview I've ever experienced.

Question 1
Please elaborate on x program and how you handled roadblocks leading up to launch?
Thorough, 3+ months and several loops, a take home case that you present in front of a panel and Q&A. Lots of behavioral questions and detailed in the trees questions from the hiring team

Question 1
What type of metrics did you use to understand retention and growth with your experiment?
I've reached only first round of interview with hiring manager. She was friendly and explained me the stages. But I felt that I am not going to the next round of interviews.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Uber (New York, NY) in Mar 2026
Interview
Only made it through the recruiter screening. It felt very rushed during the conversation. It didn’t last long at all. Maybe 15 minutes. I received an automated rejection email within 36 hours
