Interview
The interview process are separated into two sessions that span across for around 1.5 months. First you will be interviewed by their Talent Acquisition Manager, followed by the Project Managers. The first interview, will be more about your basic background, the tools and knowledge towards project management. There are more technicalities involved, as compared to the second interview. The second interview is more of your personalities, activities, and simulated situational scenarios.
They recommended me to take their Project Manager role, however in the end their reasoning was they are looking for someone with more relevant experience to the video games industry. I think they are ultimately destroying the ecosystem in the creative sector. How many games industry are there out there in Singapore, and even for a game development graduate to shift their focus onto project management role is rare. Most of them would rather be an artist, or even game designer. If they are not open to opportunities that allows even people from various field to help grow this industry, the harder for it to expand their market here to generate the kind of talent needed.
J’ai eu une très bonne impression lors de l’entretien avec les RH. L’entretien était bien organisé et la personne en charge du recrutement était professionnelle. Malgré le fait que ma candidature n’ait finalement pas été retenue, je garde une impression très positive de cet échange.
