I had an initial interview with the head of talent. It was a basic interview asking about my experience, skill level, etc. The conversation went well and I answered all the questions she asked me. She did ask me about my experience with stakeholders and as a graphic designer, that's not something I've ever been asked before. To me, it sounds like they will make you do things a graphic designer wouldn't typically do day to day probably to try and cut costs on hiring other people. The thing that annoyed me and is very common now is after that interview, she said I would hear back early the following week about next steps but I never heard. I sent a follow up email to find out what was going on and again, I got no response. If I haven't got the job, that's totally fine but I would rather be told no in an email back. It's just common curtesy and basic manners to actually give a candidate a response back.
