I applied online. I interviewed at Unity in Sep 2021
Interview
The interview process was great. It took 3-4 weeks from application to job offer. The process included interviews with the hiring manager and members of the Marketing department. The team was very friendly, welcoming and clear on what the process would be. Feedback was given quickly. It was the best candidacy process that I have ever experienced.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Please describe a project that had obstacles and how you handled them.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Unity in Jan 2021
Interview
I first went through a phone screening with an HR rep, who was then my main point of contact for the rest of the interview. Marie-Michele, my contact, was simply amazing! Very clear and frequent communication about the entire interview process.
The entire process went as such:
1. Phone screen with an HR rep, who was then assigned as the main point of contact. She explained the team structure at Unity, the interview process, and the job, and then asked a couple questions related to the job.
2. Video interview with the manager hiring. The manager described the particulars of the role in a lot more detail and asked some skill-testing questions.
3. Three interviews with other colleagues that I'd be working with in the team. More skill-testing questions as well as getting a feel for the team and culture.
4. Reference checks. Two managers and two peers.
5. Offer!

Question 1
How would you approach building a content strategy for a new product?
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Unity (San Francisco, CA) in Aug 2021
Interview
Nice interview, went over a lot of things. Shared background via a deck and examples of past work. Interviewer was kind although serious, not overly friendly, but that's to be expected in the corporate vibes of this place.
