I had been interviewing with Unity for 3 months. I will say, Unity has some of the best recruiters by far. The hiring manager is the issue. The hiring manager appeared to be very wishy-washy, and not at all motivated to move the process along. However, within my final interview (a presentation) he told me that the role was mine. The only stipulation was that he had to meet with HR to ensure that he could do the hire in the US, and to give him 2 weeks to put together the offer. So, I waited and I continued to followed-up. For 5 weeks. The entire time, the recruiter was apologizing for how long the response was taking. Finally, the recruiter got back to me and she told me that they hired internally for the role that was promised to me. The role I had been interviewing for 3 months. However, they loved me so much that they would like to offer me a similar position on the team for less than half the compensation of the role I applied for. I didn't expect to write anything but a positive experience with Unity but this is the biggest insult and waste of time that I've experienced with a company. I presented my strategies, ideas, and scaling processes to the company with the promise of a role, and now I'm left with nothing in return. Truly a lesson learned on my end and I will definitely remember my experience with Unity for the rest of my career. Good luck!
