I spoke with a talent acquisition specialist for about 30 mins - was asked to summarize my work experiences and then asked some fairly in-depth questions about certain elements of it, as well as some behavioural questions. I was told there would be 4 rounds total of interviews (including this one), with one of them being an optional coding assessment after meeting the hiring manager. I was then scheduled to meet with the hiring manager but, 2 days before, they cancelled it and told me the role had been filled, which I thought was kind of unprofessional.
Spoke with 2 Senior Legal Counsel. Common questions such as tell me about yourself, why UPP, challenges you overcame, time you showed empathy, etc. Some questions of curiosity about specific experiences on my resume. One of the most uncomfortable interviews I did, felt like I was never considered a competitive candidate; one lady was particularly uninteresting and difficult to talk to.
I applied through college or university. I interviewed at University Pension Plan (Toronto, ON)
Interview
The first interview was a virtual online interview with HR and a week later then an interview with the manager of team. Both were 30 minutes in length and had similar questions, 5 year goals and tell me about yourself
