My review is for interview experience with Upwork talent innovation- I Sent a proposal and a recruiter got in touch. My Initial experience with the hiring manager and the recruiter had been great. Post completion of my interview a followup assignment came through and was asked to submit in 24-hour time frame- This comprised of a few scenarios that Upwork encountered and was expected to solve them. I completed them and submitted within the specified time frames. Well, that was the last time I heard from them. (it has been over 2.5 months. I followed up a few times and there was no response from the recruiters.)
I understand that not everyone may be a good fit for the position or Upwork may have various priorities. However, Not closing the interview communication loop post an interview especially when a candidate has invested so much time in terms of the interview and exhaustive assignments is definitely not a good experience even if they are freelancers or contractors.
