I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Vans (Burbank, CA) in Aug 2017
Interview
Group interview, very chill and laid back. It was four of us. I think they really notice if you wear their clothes. and I definitely think they look for if you have the vans type of skater vibe, which is why I think I didn't get the offer. They asked a few serious questions like why you would want to work there and what you would do in certain situations. Then they asked some questions for fun like what you like to do, hobbies, etc.
I applied online. I interviewed at Vans (Tulsa, OK) in Oct 2025
Interview
Easy and laid back you'll usually do it with another person who is also interviewing for the job. Pretty simple questions such as previous work history and how you deal with people in crowds which you will be dealing with a lot.

Question 1
Mostly how you deal with and overwhelming amount of people
Asked basic questions like what you do in fast paced environment, availability, etc. Talked a lot about sales goals. Those are very important. Also what hobbies you like, where you’d thrive most. Was around 15 minutes.
The interview process was really nice & smooth. The HM not only shared the work life and company, but wanted to know more about me and my work. It was a very laid-back interview and kind-of informal, but in a relaxed way.
