Vantage Trailers interview questions

I went through two interviews with this family run business. I first met with the wife and it was a positive. During the first interview I met the husband briefly. During the second interview it was more formal and I could tell there was no going forward. The male later told me I was refused for being pushy when he first met me during the first interview. Taking initiative was valued in my last place of employment, and really did not see myself as being pushy, so I found it surprising but respect that I probably was not going to be a fit after all.
