I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Vera Bradley (Tampa, FL) in Feb 2013
Interview
I applied online. They emailed me an interview request and I replied quickly. I showed up for my interview in the Starbucks seating area and was interviewed by the DM of the area and a near by manager from a city an hour away. They were SUPER sweet and very easy to talk to. They know how to make you comfortable! They asked a few questions but not to many. It was mostly them giving me details of the position and company. They gave me a complete run down of the process after the interview and was VERY informative.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Asked for a run down of my resume (employment history)
Asked if I had any questions for them
They love examples!!!!!!
Asked where have I experienced great customer service and how
They really base their questions on your answers.
Simple and quick. Interviewer was mainly interested in my past experience to ensure that I was a good fit for the position I was interviewing for. Was also willing to work around my school schedule due to me being a college student.
A lot of situational based questions, "Describe a time when..." or "How would you handle this if that..." etc. Fairly on brand with most interviews for other retail companies, in my opinion.
