Verastem interview questions

Had an initial call with the hiring manager that went well, then was called in for a day of interviews. The day was well communicated and well organized, as was the follow up afterwards.

Unscheduled phone screen with HR recruiter - very disconcerting. She called out of the blue late in the evening and wanted to conduct the interview immediately. The quality of the connection was poor and it was difficult at first to even understand her name or the company's name. She focused on typical resume questions, but wanted to go through my career history chronologically from university, which is extremely unusual at this level and felt like age discrimination.
