Hi Everyone,
I have 7+ years of experience as a PL/SQL Developer.
Recently, I attended an interview with Vidal Healthcare.
In the first round, I was able to answer all the questions confidently without skipping any. After that, I was asked to wait in the reception area.
Later, I was called for the second round, which was taken by a manager. During this round, even though I answered most of the questions, the interviewer didn't seem to accept my responses. There were two questions I couldn't answer – which, in my experience, are rarely asked in interviews. I’m not sure what exactly the interviewer was expecting from me, as there were many other areas they could have focused on technically.
The next day, I followed up with HR for feedback.
She informed me that I received negative feedback, and when I asked for the reason, she simply said, “You need to improve on the coding side.”
I found this quite unexpected and disappointing, especially since only two questions were left unanswered.
Has anyone else faced a similar experience recently during interviews? Would love to hear your thoughts and how you handled it.
Thanks in advance!
