I was contacted tby heir HR, Iqra, and she asked about me and my experience in my previous company. She then conducted a 25-minute phone interview focused on OOP and databases. The interview went well, but she advised me to study these topics in depth for the next round with their CTO, Farooq Khan. She scheduled my interview at 10 PM because the CTO was in the US (I agreed, even though it's uncommon for Pakistanis).
Things took a turn when I interviewed with Farooq Khan. He was the worst interviewer I have ever encountered. His language was extremely unprofessional—using terms like "Tu" and "Shehzaday." I was applying for an entry-level position, yet he asked irrelevant questions about microservices. He didn’t acknowledge my correct answers but constantly mocked me for any mistakes. His attitude was terrible—he even laughed when I got stuck.
At the end of the interview, he asked me if I had any questions. I asked, "How's the daily work-life for developers at Vidizmo?" He responded, "Code karte hain aake, aur kya karenge? Hahahaha."
His questions were completely unjustifiable, not just in complexity but also in their technical depth. He expected an entry-level candidate to explain how things work at the hardware level, which made no sense. I didn’t receive an offer, but even if I had, I would have rejected it. I can't imagine how a normal person could work under such people. Totally unprofessional.
