Virginia Records interview questions

If I could describe my interview experience for Virginia Records in Bulgaria with one word, it would be: disappointing. I have always been a huge music fan and I know that I want a career in the field of music/radio/event management for music festivals. I completed my Bachelors degree in Media from the UK and I came back to Bulgaria looking for a job. When I saw that Virginia Records were looking for a marketing assistant I was very intrigued and excited to apply. When they called me for an interview I was super happy. Sadly, it was a downhill from there. I was interviewed by the founder of the company and was super disappointed by the interview. I had done some research beforehand and asked around about the work experience there. The answers were mixed. but mostly stated a not-so-great salary, however, lots of opportunities to learn about the music industry in Bulgaria. Firstly, my interview started 15 minutes late. Secondly, the interview lasted 15 minutes and I was asked ridiculous questions. For example, the employer (founder of Virginia) had my CV in their hands, which states I graduated from the UK and they asked me if I knew English?! They proceeded to ask me what kind of music I listened to, who were my top 3 favourite artists, whether I used Spotify or other streaming platforms, whether I was literate and if I read books. All my answers were met with a fake smile and nod. I did not get an offer, however, I decided to take that as dodging a bullet. After such a bad impression and seeing how things work here, I have had to accept that my desired career cannot be worked in Bulgaria and I will have to dream somewhere else. I would not mind trying for a job at Virginia again, however, I have noticed very bad reviews and that they look for new people every few months, which indicates they cannot keep employees for long. This leads me to believe that I could do much better without having to work there.
