I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Vivergo Fuels (Hull, England) in Nov 2017
Interview
I had to submit a cover letter and cv only, I was then invited to the assessment day.
The assessment day was really good, really friendly environment.
It consisted of:
-SJT quiz
- a friendly group activity (we assigned roles as a team) and worked to construct a bridge.
- a tour of the site
- generic competency interview
-interview with the team leader (similar to the competency interview)
-technical interview, we were given a process diagram of a HX system and asked questions about it
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Vivergo Fuels (Hull, England) in Nov 2015
Interview
Had to complete a written question before initial screening. The question centred on time management and how I would manage multiple stakeholder preasures whilst completing group projects.
I was then invited to a skype interview with two interns and got asked a mixture of competency and technical questions. Including questions on heat exchangers and pumps. I had to design a simple processing system, where they just tested my ability to apply what I knew.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Why Vivergo? Why do you want to work here?
Name a time when you overcame a problem.
Majority of the interview was technical questions about heat exchangers and pumps and pressure. Whilst a quarter of the interview was focused on Competency questions.
