Had a 15 min. phone conversation with one of there recruiters, after the phone interview she said that my info was being passed on to the hiring manager . Well I got that dreaded rejection email. I do want to put some attention on vivint hiring process. They are passing on highly skilled and qualified candidates. I don't want to brag. Vivint specializes in 2gig Alarms made by Nortek. I am a 2gig Guru been a installer for 19yrs I know everything there is to know about the product, and still to this day I have techs calling me from my previous employer asking me trouble shooting questions regarding the 2gig alarm. My completion rate with my previous employer was 98%. I was completing between 2 to 3 installs a day depending on the size. Had a very low call back numbers (and most of the call backs were either user error or equip that went bad) and my UP SELLS were through the roof. Average an additional $800 to 1000 mo. at 8% Comm. The only reason I left, is another company offered me 5 more dollars a hour which my present company wasn't willing to match after a less than $1.00 raise where I was, then it was a simple decision to leave. Vivint passed on a rock star, I am someone who is excellent with customers, works great with a Team and Individually, also trained new hires. So just a FYI, the recruiting staff should be better prepped for these types of technical jobs because the future of the company depends on it.
