The interview experience at Vymo was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. The issue was never about rejection — companies have every right to select or reject candidates. The real concern was the repeated assurances given throughout the process, including verbal indications around offer movement, followed by unexpected additional rounds and eventual rejection after significant time investment. The process involved multiple discussions, assignment preparation, continuous follow-ups, and weeks of waiting, only to end with inconsistent communication and unclear decision-making. Candidates invest not only time, but also emotional energy and opportunity cost during such hiring cycles. If a candidate is not a fit, transparency and timely closure are always appreciated. However, creating repeated expectations and then reversing direction at the final stages reflects poorly on the hiring process and candidate experience. Strongly recommend the hiring team work on: • Transparent communication • Respecting candidate timelines • Avoiding unnecessary interview rounds • Not giving premature assurances before internal alignment A smoother and more respectful candidate experience would greatly improve trust in the organization.
