I didn't receive an interview; I was rejected based on experience, but it was the most professional and personable rejection I've ever heard of. They could have just sent me a canned response email because I wasn't qualified, but they didn't. I received a phone call and spoke with the job poster for about five minutes. I have editorial background but not architectural background, and their hire needed to have that architectural background for totally valid reasons. He was polite and explained things without talking down to me. I got a great impression of the company based on how he took the time to give me a call and a good talk even though it was ultimately not going to work. I feel like it would have been a fantastic place to work based on that conversation and I'm grateful to the principal for treating me the way he did. Very positive experience.

Question 1
There were no questions because I wasn't qualified.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at WGM Associates (Phoenix, AZ)
Interview
Web conference call with 4 other people (during depths of coronavirus pandemic, so your mileage may vary). They asked questions about my knowledge and how I might find what they found.
Their questions weren't difficult, it was how they phrased them that made me think that they were more interested in telling me how awesome they think they were. Seeing one interviewer later at a security conference confirmed that suspicion.
They wanted a very particular skillset for which they were not paying the market rate. They wanted to undercut my current employer for the privilege of working for them.
